====== Rediscovering 1983 ======

In 1983 my 8-year old self sat in my room with my ears glued to WDCV, the radio station run by Dickinson College. I kept a cassette recorder (with the mono speaker and the large buttons) nestled against a clock radio in order to capture what was coming out. That christmas a dual-cassette boombox appeared elegantly solving all of life's problems. Unfortunately, all of the mixes from that time were destroyed or unceremoniously appropriated by siblings. 

Lately I have been thinking a lot about how "fresh" everything sounded back then. I thought it would be cool to put up a page with my favorites on it, via youtube links. (Warning: Some of this material was probably never appropriate for my 8-year old self)
